San Diego Shockwave News Release
The San Diego Shockwave an expansion team in the National Indoor Football League for the 2007 season looks to compete immediately for the Championship Trophy. Do you have what it takes to be a professional football player? This occasion will give each player a legitimate shot at making the dream come true.
Date: December 16th, 2006
Location: Del Mar Sports Center
At the Del Mar Fairgrounds
2260 Jimmy Durante Blvd
Del Mar, CA 92014
Time: Registrations begins promptly at 8:00am
Fee: Pre-registration will be $40.00
(check website for form @ www.sandiegoshockwave.com)
Registration on day of try-out will be $50.00 (Cash and Money Orders only)
** Participants will receive an Official San Diego Shockwave T-Shirt **
Dress Attire: Participants should wear proper athletic attire and proper shoes for indoor workout. Track shoes will not be permitted. Players are encouraged to bring their resume and game film.
All participants must be 19 and over and will be required to sign a try-out waiver form.
Players will be tested in the following:
A. 40 Yard Dash E. Broad Jump
B. 185/225 Bench Press F. 3 Cone Drill
C. Vertical Jump G. Offensive Drills
D. Short Shuttle H. Defensive Drills
