San Diego Professional Women\'s Team to Honor Local EMS Workers for 9/11

San Diego, CA - They are out there doing what they love, for the thrill, the opportunity, to live out a dream, and to make a path in women's professional sports. The So Cal Scorpions, San Diego's very own women's professional football team, know what it's like to be on the field not for the money, but for the passion of what they do.

This Saturday night, in commemoration of September 11th, the Scorpions will honor

those that are in the field everyday, fulfilling their passion, and being there for San Diego in our time of need; San Diego EMS workers and the United States military.

The Scorpions will offer free admission to any EMS or military worker presenting their valid ID at the gate.

"These people are there for all of us everyday, and we want them all to know that the Scorpions and San Diego appreciate each and everyone of them" Stated Co Owner Ann Bagala

"Our running back coach, Coach Nate White, was deployed to Iraq two months ago, we miss him on the field, but know he, like others, is doing something extremely important for our country" Stated Co- Owner Christina Suggett

The Scorpions will take on the Los Angeles Amazons in game five of their season at Edwards Stadium in La Jolla; game time is 7:00 PM.

All Police, Firefighters, Paramedics, EMT's, Sheriffs, Lifeguards, Military, etc will receive one free admission with their valid work ID at the gate.
