San Diego Gulls to Open 2016 Training Camp Monday, October 3

SAN DIEGO - The San Diego Gulls announced today that the American Hockey League (AHL) club will begin its 2016 Training Camp on Monday, Oct. 3 at Poway Ice Arena (12455 Kerran St #100, Poway, CA 92064). Five on-ice practices will be open to the public and free of charge. Times are subject to change, and fans are recommended to visit SanDiegoGulls.com for updates.
In addition to on-ice practices, the San Diego Gulls will play a pair of preseason games, both against the Ontario Reign. The two clubs will meet on Thursday, Oct. 6 (10 a.m.) at Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, Calif. and again on Monday, Oct. 10 (7 p.m.) at Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif. Limited tickets are still available at SanDiegoGulls.com/gullsreigntickets.
The Gulls will also host an intra-squad scrimmage at Valley View Casino Center in San Diego on Wednesday, Oct. 12 (7 p.m.). The game and parking will be free of charge to all fans. Fans can register for free tickets (limit four per customer) at SanDiegoGulls.com/scrimmage.
The San Diego Gulls training camp roster will be announced at a later date.

The Gulls are entering their second season in San Diego this October and will kick off the regular season with Opening Night on Friday, Oct. 14 against the Tucson Roadrunners at Valley View Casino Center. All fans in attendance will receive a rally towel courtesy of Cal Coast Credit Union.
