San Antonio Stars Announce 2016 Broadcast Schedule

SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Stars will broadcast five games on FOX Sports Southwest (FSSW) during the 2016 season, the team announced today. The local broadcast schedule includes coverage of one home game and four road contests.

FOX Sports Southwest's coverage of the season begins on the road against the Los Angeles Sparks on Thursday, June 2 at 9:30 p.m. Fans in San Antonio can also follow the action when the Stars play out of town against the Phoenix Mercury on June 9, the Dallas Wings on June 23 and the defending champion Minnesota Lynx on July 2.

The Stars will host the 2015 Eastern Conference Champion New York Liberty on Saturday, June 11. Tipoff inside the AT&T Center is set for 7 p.m.

The voice of the Stars, Andrew Monaco, returns as the play-by-play announcer for a 14th season and will be joined by analyst Dan Weiss for a fourth-straight year. Games can also be heard locally on Ticket 760-AM with Andy Everett.

San Antonio will also play four games on NBA TV this season. The Stars host the Liberty on the network Aug. 26, and are scheduled to play road games against the Wings (May 21), Seattle Storm (July 20), and Sparks (Sept. 16) on NBA TV.
