NEW YORK, March 3, 2012 - The San Antonio Spurs today re-assigned guard Cory Joseph to the Austin Toros, the Spurs' NBA D-League affiliate. The assignment marks the 44th time an NBA player has been assigned to his NBA D-League affiliate during the 2011-12 season and is the second assignment for Joseph this season.

Joseph (6-3, 185) returns to the Toros following a four-game assignment in January when he averaged 11.3 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists.

Selected by the Spurs with the 29th overall pick of the 2011 NBA Draft out of the University of Texas, Joseph has appeared in 25 games, for San Antonio this season, scoring 45 points and dishing out 30 assists.
