
Salmon Kings Well Represent at League Level

Victoria Salmon Kings News Release
Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks and Manitoba Moose, announced today that both President Dave Dakers and Vice President of Hockey Operations Dan Belisle will sit on committees at the league level.
Dakers will be a member of the ECHL's Executive Committee. This is his first year serving in this role.
The Executive Committee is comprised of the Chairman (Steve Chapman of Gwinnett), Commissioner Brian McKenna and seven Governors as appointed by the Chairman. The Executive Committee is responsible for the management and direction of the business of the League.
Belisle will serve as the Chairman of the ECHL's Rules Committee. This marks his ninth-year on the committee and the second time that he has been named as the chairman.
The rules committee discusses rules of play as well as league, hockey specific, rules. The committee then makes recommendations to the ECHL Board of Governors for additions and/or changes to the rules or policies for the betterment of the game.
This committee is also made up of individuals representing the ECHL's member teams as well as, from the league office, Senior Vice President of Hockey Operations Rod Pasma.
