Salmon Kings Introduce Minor Hockey Night

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks and Manitoba Moose, announced today that they will be hosting seven Greater Victoria minor hockey organizations for the March 1, 2008 game against the Las Vegas Wranglers.

As part of an ever-growing relationship with the local minor hockey community, the Salmon Kings are proud to welcome hundreds of players, coaches and families to Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre to see the series finale against the Wranglers. Tickets will be available for just $12 by contacting the Salmon Kings Ticket Office at (250) 220-2610.

"All minor hockey organizations are invited to attend and will have a presence inside the arena," said Ticket Sales Manager, Devin Mazur. "We encourage you to celebrate as a team as the minor hockey season comes to a close."

Each of the organizations; Victoria Racquet Club Kings, Juan de Fuca Grizzlies, Peninsula Eagles, Sooke Thunderbirds, Saanich Braves, Victoria IceHawks, and the Kerry Park Islanders, will have a player representative on the ice with the Salmon Kings during the singing of the national anthems.

The organizations will also be represented with an information table within the concourse before and during the game, and will have noisemakers available for all minor hockey supporters in attendance.

The Salmon Kings will play a two game set against the Fresno Falcons this week, with Monday and Tuesday night's games starting at 7:05 p.m. at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre. For information on tickets for the series, please call (250) 220-7889.
