
Salmon Kings 20 man roster released

Victoria, BC â Head Coach and General Manager of the Victoria Salmon Kings Bryan Maxwell released his 20 man season ending roster on Friday.
"We reserve the rights to maximum of eight players from our final list by extending a qualifying offer to them by July 1st of which no more than four can be veterans," said Maxwell.
The Victoria Salmon Kings ECHL Hockey Club congratulates Cleve Dheensaw, sports writer for the Victoria Times Colonist has been awarded the "Commissioner's Award" for his coverage of the Salmon Kings inaugural season in the league.
It is an honor for the Salmon Kings to have a member of the local media covering their team get recognized in this way.
"Cleve Dheensaw did an exemplary job of introducing the Salmon Kings and the ECHL to not only Victoria, but all of British Columbia. The informative and entertaining feature stories that were written by Mr. Dheensaw leading up to the season opener and continuing throughout the season provided a totally different outlook and perspective on the league," said ECHL Commissioner Brian McKenna.
"Cleve has always been really good to this team and it was a pleasure working with him last season and I look forward to continuing to work with him next year, said Maxwell.
The Salmon Kings are very fortunate to have such focus on the team by the local media in Victoria 12 months a year, not just throughout the hockey season.
