
Sahlen Packing Co. Announced as Jersey Sponsor

Elma, N.Y. (Friday, April 12, 2013) - The Western New York Flash have announced that Sahlen Packing Co. will serve as its official jersey sponsor for the 2013 season.
Joe Sahlen, owner of the Buffalo-based packaging company, started the Flash in 2008 and the Sahlen's family has been tied to the team ever since. Sahlen Sports Park in Elma serves as the official practice facility of the Flash, while the team will play home contests in Rochester at Sahlen's Stadium.
Sahlen Packing Co. was started as a family business in 1869 and is now into its fourth and fifth generation of ownership. Today, Sahlen Packing Co. has developed a reputation of high quality meat products and holds the title of Official Hot Dog of the Flash, Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres, Buffalo Bisons and the Rochester Rhinos.
Flash jerseys have recently been released for purchase at www.nwslshop.com. Fans will get their first look at the new gear at 6 p.m. on Sunday when the Flash travel to Sky Blue FC and wear their away reds. The home kit will be unveiled on April 27th at 7:35 p.m., the Flash's first home game against the Boston Breakers.
WNY will also have a Project PINK third-jersey that will be worn in the team's home finale on August 17th against the Breakers.
Individual game and season tickets are still available. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling (585) 545-KICK. Season ticket holders can pick up their season tickets at Sahlen's Stadium until April 14. Remaining season tickets will be mailed to the holders on April 15.
