
Sacramento Sirens Unveil Next-Generation Web Site

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (March 9, 2003) â The Sacramento Sirens, Sacramento's professional women's full tackle football team, has upgraded their website at www.sacramentosirens.com. The new site clearly embodies the Sirens image while providing clearer access to the user.
"SacramentoSirens.com now provides a more welcoming look and feel emphasizing user-friendliness by placing all of the main information on the home page," said Gayle Totton, co-owner and CEO of the Sirens. "The site now features links at the top of every page to enable the user to "jump" to different pages for quick access to everything they need."
From the home page, visitors can check the final score of the latest game, check out the Sirens calendar for upcoming events, take a Sirens poll and read featured stories consisting of press releases and media articles. Site visitors can also order season tickets, read about their favorite Sirens player, order Sirens merchandise and view the community calendar to see where the players will be next.
With regards to the web site improvements, Totton concluded, "The site was designed not only to provide information on the Sacramento Sirens, but also to promote women's football and fitness overall. The redesigned web site embodies the Sirens mission of encouraging women and youth to participate in the sport of American Tackle Football. "
