SAN JOSE, Calif. - The SaberCats announced today that they have added former Nevada Wolfpack defensive back Chris "Bubba" Boudreaux to their active roster. Boudreaux takes the roster spot of the team's leading tackler, defensive back Andre Jones who was placed on injured reserve.

"Bubba is someone who can come in and help solidify our secondary," said Owner/Head Coach Darren Arbet. "He has good ball skills and has the ability to make plays."

Boudreaux (6-0, 195, Nevada) played two seasons in Reno with the Wolfpack after transferring from Palomar College in San Marcos, Calif. As a senior with Nevada, the Las Vegas native appeared in 12 games where he recovered two fumbles, blocked a kick and made six total tackles. As a junior in his first season on campus, Boudreaux appeared in all 14 games, including a start in the season opener and recorded 16 total tackles as well as a sack.
