
SaberCats Acquire DB Rod Mosley from Blaze

SAN JOSE, CA - The SaberCats today announced the acquisition of DB Rod Mosley from the Utah Blaze in exchange for DB Chris Royal.
Mosley (5-11, 185) began the season with the Spokane Shock where he totaled 5.5 tackles in two games before joining the Utah Blaze on May 3. In four games for the Blaze, he posted 22.0 tackles and three passes defensed in four games for Utah. In 2010, he notched 6.0 total tackles, returning an interception for a touchdown while posting four pass breakups in just two games for Spokane.
Before entering the AFL, Mosley played collegiately at Texas A&M-Kingsville where he led the team with seven interceptions as a senior, earning first-team All-Lone Star Conference South Division honors.
