Rush unveils Corporate Angels program

March 1, 2006 - Arena Football League (1987-2008) (AFL I)
Chicago Rush News Release

The Chicago Rush announced today it has joined forces with several local businesses to create the Rush Corporate Angels program.

The Rush Corporate Angels program gives Chicagoland companies the opportunity to purchase blocks of tickets to Chicago Rush home games and then donate the tickets to deserving organizations whose members might otherwise not be able to attend professional sporting events.

"There are many Chicago area organizations that, like the Rush, want to make a difference in their community," said Rush president/general manager Mike Polisky. "We are proud to help these companies give deserving groups the opportunity to experience a Chicago Rush game."

When the Rush kicks off against the Dallas Desperados this Sunday, March 5, at 11 a.m., 500 fans representing Blue Cap School, Maryville City of Youth and Rainbow's for All God's Children will enjoy the game courtesy of FGS, Inc., a print and promotional products supplier located in Chicago.

"We are honored to be in a position to give back to the community and to expose a new generation of kids to the excitement of Arena Football," said Tom Schaefer, executive vice president of FGS, Inc.

Chicagoland companies that want to participate in the Rush Corporate Angels program should contact Laura Visin, Rush community relations manager, at (773) 243-3439 or e-mail her at lvisin@chicagorush.com.
