Chicago Rush News Release
The Chicago Rush will host a coaching clinic for Chicagoland youth football coaches Wednesday, August 31, at the team's Hoffman Estates practice facility, Poplar Creek Sports Centre. The free clinic will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will be open to all local youth football coaches.
Rush head coach Mike Hohensee, along with Rush assistant coaches, players and support staff, will lead discussions and offer demonstrations on age-appropriate football drills, football strategy, preventing injuries and proper use of equipment.
"The Rush believes in supporting youth football in Chicago," said Rush president/general manager Mike Polisky. "The coaches and parents who volunteer their time to help nurture the next generation of football players are special people, and it's an honor to assist their efforts.
"We hope our clinic will offer youth coaches additional information to better enrich the football experience of their kids."
Space for the clinic is limited and youth football coaches wishing to attend should contact Jeff Martin at (773) 243-3438 or jmartin@chicagorush.com no later than Wednesday, August 24.
Poplar Creek Sports Centre is located at 2350 Hassell Road in Hoffman Estates.
