June 22, 2008 - With kicker Paul Edinger still out with a groin injury, the Chicago Rush signed veteran AFL kicker Todd France to kick in Sunday's regular season finale against Dallas, the team announced today.
France (6-3, 200, Toledo) has spent time with both New Orleans and Orlando this season, kicking in a total of seven games and converting 35 of 43 extra point attempts and four of seven field goal attempts. France spent the first seasons of his AFL career with the Philadelphia Soul, earning a spot on the league's All-Rookie team in 2006.
In his AFL career he has played in 38 games and converted 235 of 266 PATs (88.3%) and 27 of 56 field goals (48.2%).
Prior to joining the Arena Football League, France had stints in the NFL with the Minnesota Vikings, New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
