Rush Scores New Radio Deal

January 8, 2008 - Arena Football League (1987-2008) (AFL I)
Chicago Rush News Release

Radio broadcasts of Chicago Rush Arena Football games are moving to The Score Sportsradio 670 AM for the next two seasons, the Rush announced today.

The move brings the Rush back to its original radio home after WCKG, the team's broadcast outlet for the last three seasons, underwent a format change late last year.

"We are thrilled that our games are moving back to The Score," said Mike Polisky, Rush president and general manager. "Mike North was one of the team's original broadcasters and Dan Bernstein has been Tom Dore's number one fill-in for the last several years. With this year's return to the Score airwaves, we feel like we are back home again."

The Score will serve as the team's official broadcast partner, carrying all Rush regular season and playoff games live. In the event of a conflict with the Chicago Blackhawks or the Chicago White Sox, Rush games will move to AM 560WIND.

In addition, Chicago Rush games will be streamed live on The Score's Web site, www.670thescore.com.

"We are looking forward to bringing the Rush back to The Score," said Paul Agase, vice president/general manager of WSCR. "The AFL is non-stop excitement that we know our listeners will love."

As part of the deal, Dore will return for his eighth year as the voice of the Rush. He again will be joined by former Chicago Bears offensive lineman James "Big Cat" Williams, who will begin his fourth season as the team's analyst.
