September 28, 2005 - In conjunction with the introduction of its new mascot, Grabowski, the Chicago Rush today launched "The Grabowski Gang," a new kids' club aimed at football fans 13 years old and younger.

Members of the free club will receive a welcome e-mail from Rush owner Mike Ditka and Rush head coach Mike Hohensee, a Grabowski Gang T-shirt, a voucher to a 2006 Rush regular season home game, chances to win Rush prizes and much more.

In addition, The Grabowski Gang will have its own section on the Chicago Rush Web site, www.chicagorush.com, featuring Rush-specific kids games and activities, information about the team's youth programs, a calendar listing upcoming events and a multimedia section featuring a photo gallery, computer wallpaper and video highlights from Rush games.

"The goal of The Grabowski Gang is to put all the fun of the Rush gameday experience into a club," said Rush community relations manager Shawn Sullivan. "It's an interactive experience that kids will love and, we hope, help turn them into lifelong football fans."

Parents wishing to sign their kids up for The Grabowski Gang should visit the Rush Web site and click on The Grabowski Gang logo.
