Ruff Riders To Hold Final Tryouts on February 28th

ABILENE, TX: The Abilene Ruff Riders will be holding their final set of team tryouts on Saturday, February 28, 2009 from McMurry University in Abilene. McMurry University is located at 14th & Sayles Boulevard. Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. with the tryouts to start shortly after at 10:00 a.m. All those that are participating in the tryouts will be required to sign a waiver, complete a registration form, and pay a $50 registration fee. The fee must be cash or money orders only. Players are expected to wear proper attire for the event which includes cleats and/or turf shoes. Players will be tested in several different categories related to the indoor football game. Media representatives are welcomed to attend the tryouts.
