
Roughnecks Host Phoenix Rising FC on Saturday at ONEOK Field

The Tulsa Roughnecks FC will play its second home match in four days on Saturday night in what will be the first of two meetings this season with Phoenix Rising FC and former Chelsea F.C. striker Didier Drogba. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 PM in downtown Tulsa, and the first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a free TRFC flag. In addition, there will be a pre-game clinic where the Roughnecks players will teach and sharpen kids' soccer skills.
All of Saturday's activities are presented by Pepsi, FOX23 and Mix 96.
The Roughnecks come into the game with a five-match unbeaten streak, which equals the longest unbeaten run in franchise history. They have not lost a game since March 31. After starting the season with three losses, Tulsa has gotten five draws in each of the past five games.
TRFC has two previously had five-game unbeaten runs, including July 1-31 of last season and August 2-15 of the 2015 season.
The Rising also comes into the match with a five-match unbeaten streak, including a 3-0 win at Oklahoma City on Wednesday. Phoenix has gone 3-0-2 during that stretch.
After being held without a goal in three of their first four matches, the Roughnecks have now found the back of the net in four straight games. Paris Gee picked up his fourth assist of the season on Wednesday which is tied with three other players for the most in the league.
99s match will mark the second of three straight games in Tulsa for the Roughnecks. On Wednesday, May 16, TRFC will host NPSL side Wichita FC at the University of Tulsa Soccer and Track Stadium in the second round of the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup.
Tickets for Saturday's match, and next Wednesday's Open Cup game, are currently available online by clicking HERE, over the telephone at (918) 744-5901 or in person at the stadium ticket office.
As with all remaining home games this season, youth soccer players who wear their team's jersey to the match can purchase any ticket in the seating bowl for just $5.
Fans in Tulsa who are unable to attend Saturday's game with Phoenix can still watch the action live on Cox YurView channel 1333.
The match will also be streamed live on ESPN+ for fans with a subscription to the service.

The Roughnecks return to ONEOK field with the first of two meetings this season with Phoenix Rising FC. We have a few great promotions to help make it a memorable night at the stadium.
The Arvest Gate will open at 5:30 p.m. and you will want to be on time as the first 1,000 fans of all ages will receive a free TRFC Flag courtesy of Pepsi, FOX23 and Mix 96.
In addition, kids ages 12 and under are invited for a pre-game skills clinic with the Roughnecks players. This is a great opportunity for kids to meet and interact with their favorite players on the pitch as they will get to learn from the pros. Kids wanting to participate in the clinic will need to enter through the Arvest Gate at 5:30 PM. The on-field clinic will run from 5:45-6:15 PM.
All other stadium gates will open at 6:00 p.m.
After the match, activities will continue with our After-Match Party at Lefty's on Greenwood, located at the corner of Archer and Greenwood. Fans can enjoy food and drink specials plus have the opportunity to meet and visit with Roughnecks players and coaches.
