(Plainview, N.Y., March 31, 2004) The Long Island Rough Riders are proud to announce the relaunch of the "Sideline Club", an exclusive club that provides direct access to the team's coaching staff and players. Coaches and soccer volunteers are invited to discuss strategy and tactics from previous Rough Riders games.

The first meeting is going to take place on April 26th with location to be determined. Members will receive an official adidas Sideline Club Polo shirts, a membership card and weekly insightful emails from the Rough Riders coaching staff, as well as a discount on Rough Riders merchandise and tickets.

Rough Riders Sideline Club membership is $25. There is also the opportunity to join the Elite Rough Riders Sideline Club for $100, which includes a season ticket for all ten regular Rough Riders home games plus the exhibition game against the MetroStars on July 13th.

"The Rough Riders Sideline Club will change your perspective on coaching youth soccer. No lectures, just insights on the game," General Manager Jim Kilmeade comments the "Sideline Club" concept. "Ronan Wiseman and Paul Caffrey will relate their professional challenges to those of the local Long Island Junior Soccer League coaches."

Ronan Wiseman and Paul Caffrey both hold a US Soccer Federation Certified "A" Coaching License. Wiseman played for the Rough Riders team for several years. He currently is the Mens Assistant Coach for Adelphi University. Previously he coached the mens soccer teams of US Merchant Marine Academy and of CW Post University.

Paul Caffrey, the Assistant Coach, is the Mens Head Soccer Coach for the Suffolk County Community College. Caffrey was one of the U14 US National Team Selectors. Both men are part of the ODP Region 1 Coaching Staff and Adelphi University Soccer Alumni.

The Long Island Rough Riders are one of the most successful soccer franchises in the United States. Capturing two National Championships in 1994 and 2002, they have launched the careers of some of the top players in America including Chris Armas, Tony Meola and Giovanni Savarese. In 2003, the Rough Riders organization was inducted into the United Soccer League "Hall of Fame", in recognition of their 10th year anniversary.
