Rome Copper City Chiefs Release Schedule

Copper City Chiefs News Release


The Rome Copper City Chiefs of the EPHL released the 2008-09 hockey season schedule today. The Chiefs will open their season November 1st on the road in Danbury CT. The Chiefs home opener will be the following Friday November 7th when they host the Brooklyn Aces. The Chiefs will have 25 home games with the majority of the games on Friday or Saturday evenings. All home games are scheduled to start at 7:30 with the exception of New Years Eve which will start at 6:00. Chiefs President Wayne Premo states he is pleased with the schedule and feels the league was very fair. The New Years Eve game will be a very exciting game with many promotions throughout the night. An after the game New Years Eve party is also being planned. "I am sorry with the delay in announcing the coach as planned," Premo said. "I am very excited with our coach and have just needed more time to work out the details. We are also trying to locate an office to open up operations. Season tickets and special package deals will then go on sale. I just want to thank the public and fans for their understanding with the delays and assure you that we are working hard behind the scenes."
