Copper City Chiefs News Release

The Copper City Chiefs have signed 6' 200lb forward, Matt Cosmos for the 2008 - 2009 season

The 25 year old Cosmos finished his college career with Concordia college last season. Coach Mike Beavis of the Chiefs stated, "When I saw Matt in Danbury's Pro placement camp I felt this kid had what it takes to be a player." After speaking with Danbury GM. Brendan Tedstone, Beavis was given the okay to speak with Cosmos. Two days later the deal was done.

"I think that with the addition of Matt to our squad gives us a very good two way forward to help boast our already solid base for this seasons team," Beavis added. Terms of the contract were unavailable.
