Rogues Stumble Late Again

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - The Rogues gave up a four run lead in the ninth inning to lose on a two-out, walk-off single by Gems third baseman Xander Orejudos.

Medford native Cole Carder (Antelope Valley) extended his hitting streak to seven games with a single in the eighth inning.

Blake Baumgartner (UC-San Diego) went 3-4 with three runs scored, including a solo home run in the eighth.

The Gems scored two runs on four consecutive singles to start the bottom of the ninth. An error loaded the bases for the second time in the inning. With two outs, Troy Simpkins hit a two run single to tie the game.

The Gems hit a total of six singles in the ninth inning.

Tomorrow night your Rogues will head down to the Bay Area for a four game series against the San Francisco Seals. First pitch of tomorrow night's game will be at 7:05pm, pregame show at 6:45pm. You can watch every pitch of every game this season online for free on TableRockSports.net

The Rogues will travel around central California for the next week before returning home on Friday, June 29th against the Chico Heat. The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a FREE Rowdy Championship Bobblehead, presented by Rogue Credit Union. That Friday will also be a double-header to make up for the rain out on June 17th. The purchase of one Friday ticket is good for both games. Friday's game is also a KMVU Fox26 Fill the Park Friday. Fans can visit the following local businesses to pick up FREE tickets for the Rogues next home game on Friday, June 29th.
