Chicago Rockstars News Release

Chicago, IL. The ABA Chicago Rockstars are considering signing AND1 mixtape tour star Jamar "The Pharmacist" Davis. He will be in attendance at the Rockstars second player tryout camp to be held on June 3. "We feel that the Pharmacist is an exciting player, but we would like to see him play in an organized setting," said head coach Kenny Williams. "Street ball players have been getting unjust criticism that their game is limited to the playground level. Players like Randy "White Chocolate" Gill of the Maryland Nighthawks have proven the critics wrong - and so will the Pharmacist.

The Pharmacist played ball in 2001 at the famed Rucker Park in New York City on Team Ruff Ryders. His major highlight came when he pulled a defender's jersey completely off while maintaining possession of the ball. He also played in the 2003-2004 Pro-League in Englewood, NJ on Team Uptown where he averaged more than 20 points and eight assists.

Jamar acquired the name Pharmacist while playing ball at Rucker Park in 2001 from Hannibal (The Rucker Park MC) because his moves were "morphone based." He currently is a star point guard for the AND1 mixtape tour team that tours the country exciting fans from all walks of life. "Chicago would be a good fit for me since my best friend, Ben Gordon (Chicago Bulls star) is there," said Jamar.

Could these childhood friends unit4e once again in the Windy City? Stay tuned to the Chicago Rockstars website at www.rockstarbasketball.com or visit www.abalive.com.
