ABALiveTalk to feature Alex Austin Saturday

May 26, 2006 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release

Salt Lake City, UT. Derrick Pearson, host of ABALIVETALK, announced that this week's show will feature an interview with Alex Austin. Austin will talk about the development of minor league basketball, and answer questions from fans. Austin will give his opinions on player requirements for teams and tryout suggestions for players interested in playing in the ABA. The one hour weekly program can be heard on www.abalive.com at 3pm EST.

This week's show will once again focus on fan emails from ABA fans and supporters. Pearson is excited to focus this week's show on the emails and letters sent from fans, agents, owners and league followers. "The ideas that will be shared there could provide great insight and direction heading into the 2006-2007 ABA season," said Pearson.

The weekly "Ask the CEO" segment will include emails from ABA CEO Joe Newman. To email Joe, send emails to joenewman@abalive.com; to email the show, use abalivetalk@aol.com or visit www.abalive.com.

Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams. For information on professional minor leagues, please see OSC's basketball section.
