Chicago Rockstars News Release

Chicago, IL. The ABA Chicago Rockstars are excepting interns for the 2006-2007 season in the following areas: Marketing, Public Relations, Community Relations, Entertainment and Game Day Operations. Marques Sullivan, President/CEO of the team knows the importance of an intern in a pro organization. He is graduating from the University of Illinois in May with a degree in sport business management. Mr. Sullivan commented, "I got injured while I was with the New York Giants and missed the entire 2005-2006 season. I decided to get my degre and prepare myself for life after pro sports."

Mr. Sullivan was required to go through a 12-week internship program to complete his education. "My internship is this basketball team and I report my activity to the University of Illinois on a monthly basis," he added. "I have a great deal of experience working for a professional football team and also venturing into other businesses." Mr. Sullivan wants all interns to know that you can achieve your dreams if you pursue them with great focus and intensity. He plans on giving back his gift of education by providing each year, five high school students academic scholarships up to $20,000 each. Portions of all sales revenues will be put into this fund to help children that want to pursue a career in sport or the music business.
