Chicago Rockstars News Release
Chicago, IL - The Rockstars entered day two with more energy than the first day. Sherrick Simpson joined the team after attending to family matters out of town. The players concentrated on endurance drills that tested their physical and mental toughness. Thomas Hamilton and Najeeb Echols were no shows for the team practice. Jamar Davis is expected to re-join the team on Thursday. Pharmacist has been attending to his responsibilities with the AND1 mixtape tour. "The guys are starting to build a sense of unity amongst themselves," says head coach Kenny Williams.
The Rockstars are expected to announce the signing of their third player tommorrow. This former NBA player is considered one of the best basketball players to ever come out of the state of Illinois. Stay tuned to see who the Rockstars will sign at www.rockstarbasketball.com.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
