Rockhoppers' Ferazzoli Called Up
February 16, 2009 - Eastern Professional Hockey League (EPHL)
Jersey Rockhoppers News Release
Jersey Rockhoppers forward Chris Ferazzoli has been called-up to the Cincinnati Cyclones of the East Coast Hockey League (AA-Affiliate Montreal Canadiens/Nashville Predators). Ferazzoli heads west with an EPHL-best 65 points in 36 games so far this season (tied with Brooklyn's Kyle McCullough). He ranks 3rd in the league in goals with 24, and 2nd in assists with 41. In his last seven games, Ferazzoli has notched 15 points and registered a +/- of +7, as the Rockhoppers have gone 5-2 over that stretch, and remain in sole possession of 2nd place.
"Chris has good all-around skills that he can apply at the next level," said Head Coach Brian Gratz. "But his best asset is that he has the ability to read the play before many other players can, which gives him and his teammates an advantage on the ice."
Ferazzoli will be in action this Friday February 20, as the Cyclones take on the Dayton Bombers at the US Bank Arena in Cincinnati, OH at 7:30pm.
The Rockhoppers are home again on Sunday February 22nd against the Danbury Mad Hatters at 1:00pm. After the game fans will have the opportunity to Skate With the Team. For more information, visit www.JerseyRockhoppers.com or call the Rockhoppers Ticket Office at 973-419-6194 ext. 8105.
