
Rockets Spread around Scoring in 5-3 Victory

The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Spokane Chiefs 5-3 on Wednesday night at Prospera Place in Kelowna, extending its home winning streak to a record-tying 18.
Five different Rockets scored in the win, including Rockets captain Colton Sissons, who had a goal and an assist.
Ryan Olsen, Rourke Chartier, Tyrell Goulbourne and Zach Franko also scored for Kelowna, who led 4-0 in the third before the Chiefs scored three straight goals to make it close late in the game. Franko's empty netter though sealed the victory.
The 18 straight wins ties a Kelowna club record set in 2002-03. The Rockets franchise record is 24, set in 1992-93 by the Tacoma Rockets.
Alessio Bertaggia scored twice for the Chiefs while Jordon Cooke earned the win in net, his 16th straight win.
The Rockets and Chiefs will battle again on Friday in Spokane as the two teams complete a home and home set.
Kelowna's next home game is Saturday against the Vancouver Giants.
