Rocket Team Up With Budget Car & Truck Rentals In Support Of Children's Wish Foundation

The PEI Rocket and Budget Car & Truck Rental were pleased to present a cheque today to Jason MacLean with the Children's Wish Foundation in the amount of $1500.
On Thursday, January 14 the Rocket hosted an away game Broadcast in Centre Ice Lounge. The Webcast was sponsored by Darrell Kennedy of Budget Car & Truck Rental and Fans attending were asked to show their support by making a donation to the Children's Wish Foundation.
"The PEI Rocket are thrilled with the effort put forth by Budget Car & Truck Rental to raise funds for such a worthy cause," said Serge Savard Jr. The event itself raised $500 which was then matched by The PEI Rocket. Darrell Kennedy of Budget took things a step further when he announced that he would match the amount put forth by the Rocket to bring the total up to $1500.
"A wonderful effort on behalf of the Rocket Fans and the Rocket Organization to help us raise money for the Children's Wish Foundation," said Darrell Kennedy of Budget Car & Truck Rental.
