
Rocket Defeat Screaming Eagles in Exhibition Opener

The Rocket started the pre-season with a victory against the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles. With only a few veterans in the lineup, the Rocket earned the 5-3 victory.
Josh Currie led the way with a goal and 2 assists. Guillaume Pelletier chipped in with a pair of goals. The Rocket's first three draft picks had a hand in the victory. Victor Provencher and Louick Marcotte both scored their first QMJHL goals, while Maxime Lagace split the goaltending duties with Travis Hall.
Marc-Andre Levesque added a pair of assists, while Cody Linteau, Jordan Escott & Felipe Corbo added single assists.
Alex Powell, Alexandre Carrier and Mitch O'Neill scored the goals for the Screaming Eagles.
The Rocket now travel to Cape Breton for a game on Sunday afternoon at 4:00 before returning to Pownal next Saturday evening when they host the Moncton Wildcats at 7:00 PM.
