Rocket Announce Early Bird Winners

Earlier this year, the PEI Rocket announced details for an early bird incentive program designed for the loyal Rocket fans who purchased and paid for their season tickets by the end of June. Well, the time has come to announce the lucky winners.
For each seat purchased for the 2009-2010 season, fans were given a single ballot that would be entered into draws for a number of fantastic prizes. The prizes are:
A trip for two to Montreal to see a Canadiens game at the Bell Centre (Via Rail, Chateau Champlain and 2 Tickets for a game)
Private Dinner with your 3 favourite Rocket players
Autographed Game Worn Jersey
Autographed and Framed Team Photo
2009-2010 V.I.P. Parking Pass
Now that the early bird deadline has come and gone, the Rocket are pleased to announce the winners. Earlier today, the Rocket invited a special guest to the office to assist in making the official draw. Mayor Clifford Lee, along with the Rocket management staff completed the draw at 4:00 PM. Every season ticket holder seat was placed on a ballot and placed in a bin for the draw....and the lucky winners selected were as follows:
Gerry MacKinnon - G & P Trucking - winner of a trip for two to Montreal to see a Canadiens game at the Bell Centre (Via Rail, Chateau Champlain and 2 Tickets for a game)
Roy Birt - Private Dinner with your 3 favourite Rocket players
Eddie Derby - Autographed Game Worn Rocket Jersey

"On behalf of the PEI Rocket, I want to say a special thank you to everyone who has renewed their season tickets", said GM Kent Hudson. "Your support is tremendous and we look forward to an exciting year of Major Junior Hockey at the Charlottetown Civic Centre. We hope to continue making improvements to ensure that your experience is more enjoyable every time you come to the rink for a game".
Winners are asked to contact the Rocket office at their convenience to get the final details on the prize that they won.
The Rocket will also be announcing an exciting new event in the very near future, so stay tuned for details.
