Rocket Acquires Alex Noël

The Rocket announced today that they have acquired 18 year old winger, Alex Noël (1992-07-07) from the Gatineau Olympiques. The Rocket also acquired a 1st Round Euro pick in 2012 (GAT) and a 6th round pick (GAT) in 2012. In exchange the Rocket traded winger, Cody Linteau (1992-10-26), 1st round Euro pick (PEI) in 2012 and a 5th round pick 2012 (PEI).
This is a very solid offensive threat for us to add to our lineup ¬Â, said Serge Savard Jr. ¬ÅNoël will give us some help in scoring, while at the same time being a very solid two way player with great speed.
The Rocket are currently on break for Christmas but will return to the Charlottetown Civic Centre on Tuesday, December 28th when they will play host to the Saint John Sea Dogs.
