
Rocket Acquire Bursey in Trade with Shawinigan

The PEI Rocket have acquired Matthew Bursey and an 8th round pick, in the 2012 Entry Draft from the Shawinigan Cataractes in exchange for a 4th round pick and a 7th round pick in the 2012 entry Draft.
Bursey from Saint John, NB, born 1994-01-02 is 5'9" and 190 pounds. Bursey will practice with the team Tuesday morning.
The President and General Manager, Serge Savard Jr., said "I am so happy that we can add a player that will fit in Gordie Dwyer's program. We are committed to have players that will play for us in the future and buy into our program. That's why we made two changes today and there will be more to come"

Ben Duffy named TELUS 3rd Star of the week
Ben Duffy is the recipient of the third star thanks to 2 goals and 6 assists this week. The P.E.I. Rocket center collected 3 assists against the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles and another one on Friday versus the Saint John Sea Dogs. Moreover, he scored two goals on Sunday against the Victoriaville Tigres while adding two assists. He was named the second star of the games played on Wednesday and Sunday.
