Toronto Rock News Release
Oakville, ON - Toronto Rock Owner, President, and GM Jamie Dawick announced today that the club has traded forward Reid Reinholdt to the Las Vegas Desert Dogs in exchange for a second-round pick in the 2026 NLL Draft.
The trade is pending league approval.
"Reid has laid down some Vancouver roots and the travel back and forth wasn't going to work for either side any longer," said Dawick. "Reid wanted to look at moving to a western team, and Las Vegas was somewhere he wanted to be. We get a decent pick down the road in return, so it works out well for everyone. We will miss him around here, and if the circumstances were different, he would still be here. We wish him nothing but the best."
Reinholdt was signed as an unrestricted free agent prior to the 2017 season. He played 52 games scoring 59 goals, 76 assists and 145 points in his time with the Rock.
This move is a continuation of the Rock acquiring future draft capital as they also recently added first-round picks in the 2024 and 2025 NLL Drafts from Las Vegas in exchange for veteran forward Rob Hellyer.
The NLL Draft is Saturday afternoon at 2pm ET at The Carlu in Toronto. Fans can watch the first round of the draft live on TSN.ca and the TSN App.
