New Britain Rock Cats News Release
New Britain, CT - With the start of the 2009 Eastern League Season now just three weeks away, the New Britain Rock Cats are seeking applicants to fill a wide range of seasonal, ballpark based-positions. The Rock Cats open their new campaign on Wednesday, April 8th - and are slated to play 71 of their 142-game 2009 schedule at home at New Britain Stadium. The Minor League club is seeking upbeat, fan-friendly individuals to help them make this new baseball season another memorable one in central Connecticut.
The Rock Cats 2009 Job Fair will take place this Saturday, March 21, from 10 AM to 2 PM at New Britain Stadium. Personnel from both the Rock Cats and their in-park concessionaire, Centerplate, will be on hand inside the Stadium gates to speak with and receive the applications of all job-seekers who appear.
Examples of part-time and/or game-day positions needing to be filled for the 2009 Season include: Ticket Takers, Stadium Ushers, Security personnel, Fun Zone/Play Area Associates, Food Service, Cashiers, Bartenders, Third Base Shop Sales staff, and more.
A Job Application form will be available for all on site; if possible, it would also be helpful - but not necessary - if interested job seekers brought a personal resume.
