Rochester Knighthawks News Release
The National Lacrosse League returns to CBS Sports Network on Saturday, April 6th with a live broadcast featuring the defending champion Rochester Knighthawks and the Philadelphia Wings at The Blue Cross Arena at 6:00 p.m.
The game, originally scheduled for 7:30 p.m., is the first of two regular season appearances on CBS for the Knighthawks. The game on April 6th is a rematch of the 2012 East Division Semifinals, which was won by the Knighthawks 14-13. The game also has an additional storyline as the teams were involved in a preseason blockbuster trade that sent a first-rounder and Dan and Paul Dawson to Rochester. In return, the Wings received Jordan Hall, Paul Rabil, Joel White and Robbie Campbell.
The second game is set for Saturday, April 20th, as the Knighthawks visit the Buffalo Bandits at 7:30 p.m. The game could have playoff implications as the I-90 rivals meet on the final day of the regular season. In Rochester, the games will be broadcast on Time Warner Cable Channel 232.
The other CBS Sports Network broadcast will include the Washington Stealth hosting the Buffalo Bandits on Saturday, April 13th at 10:00 p.m. The NLL on CBS Sports Network will also include coverage of the NLL playoffs and is the exclusive home of the 2013 NLL Championship Game.
CBS Sports Network (CBSSN) is the 24-hour cable destination of CBS Sports, available to 103.5 million homes throughout the United States and Canada. CBSSN is available on local cable, video and telco providers and via satellite on DirecTV Channel 613 and Dish Network Channel 158. The network is available in Canada on Rogers, Cogeco, Bell Express Vue (HD channel 1432, SD channel 413), Eastlink, Sasktel & BellAliant TV.
