
Rob Johnson Named Player of the Week

Fargo (ND) Fargo-Moorhead Jets' forward Rob Johnson (Duluth, MN) scored five goals in two games last weekend and for his efforts, has been named the North American Hockey League's Central Division player of the week.
Johnson scored his second hat trick of the season in the FM Jets' 5-2 win over Bismarck on Jan. 12. He then scored two goals in the 4-1 win on Jan. 13 at Southern Minnesota. Through 36 games, Johnson has 41 points (20 goals). This is the second time Johnson has earned the player of the week distinction, previously garnering the attention after the games of Oct. 13-14.
The FM Jets (26-9-2, 54pts) are on a nine-game unbeaten streak and lead the North American Hockey League's Central Division by ten points. They return to action with games at North Iowa on Saturday and Sunday.
