Roanoke Valley Vipers announce new additions to front office staff

ROANOKE, VA - The Roanoke Valley Vipers, member of the United Hockey League, proudly announce the additions of Kris House and Heath Brown to their growing front office staff. House comes to the Vipers from the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League, where she has worked for the past three years as the Director of Gameday Operations.

"We are so excited about the innovative and unique concepts Kris brings to our gameday presentation," owner Kristen Dixon said of House, who will be Director of Business and Gameday Operations for the Vipers.

House worked for the B.C. Icemen, formerly of the United Hockey League, as Director of Community Relations prior to accepting her most recent position with the Senators. A native of Indianapolis, Indiana, Kris graduated from Northern Michigan University with a B.S. in Management of Health and Fitness. She has played adult league hockey in Binghamton for the last six years, and hopes to continue to do so in Roanoke.

Brown comes to the Vipers from the Big Sandy Superstore Arena in Huntington, West Virginia where he has worked as the Director of Marketing and Promotions for four and a half years. Brown attended Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio, and received his Masters in Sports Administration and Facility Management from Ohio University. He has 10 years of experience in minor league baseball, including stints with the Vero Beach Dodgers, Charleston Alley Cats, and Quad City River Bandits. Brown, who will be the Vipers Director of Sales and Marketing, is a licensed high school sports official, and has refereed high school basketball in Huntington for the past four and a half years.
