
Roanoke adds Marc Mazur

GREENVILLE, S.C., February 11 â The Roanoke Dazzle of the NBDL has acquired center Marc Mazur from the available player pool and waived guard Donald Hand, according to an announcement today by league director of basketball operations Chris Alpert and Dazzle coach Kent Davison.
An NBDL journeyman, Mazur is expected to be in uniform tonight when Roanoke hosts Asheville at the Roanoke Civic Center. A 6th round selection (42nd overall) in the 2002 NBDL Draft by the Fayetteville Patriots, the 6-10, 264-pound Detroit ('98) product most recently played with the Columbus Riverdragons.
Mazur played in 10 games before being released by Columbus on Jan. 20, averaging 14.7 minutes, 3.4 points and 3.1 rebounds. He played in 50 games last season with Fayetteville, averaging 2.3 points and 2.8 rebounds.
Hand was waived to rehabilitate an injury.
