Springfield/Ozark Mountain Ducks News Release
EDINBURG _ The Edinburg Roadrunners scored all seven runs in the first five innings of Friday's series-opening 7-2 win over the Springfield/Ozark Mountain Ducks.
Edinburg (9-6) scored two runs in the first and another in the second off Phillip May (2-1). Benjamin Cordova doubled in the first run of the game and Derek Henderson followed with an RBI single.

Pedro Flores (2-1) allowed two runs, one earned, in 6 2/3 innings in a 141-pitch performance. The left-hander struck out five and allowed five hits and five walks.
Springfield/Ozark scored an unearned run in the top of the fifth and scored again in the seventh on a Damian Roberts single. Omar Ortiz relived Flores with two outs in the seventh and two on and stuck out Steve Green to end the inning.
