RoadRunners President Steps Down

TOPEKA, KS, MAy 20, 2009: President Brian Bell of the Topeka RoadRunners has resigned effective May 20, 2009 and will relocate to St. Louis where his family lives.

RoadRunners owner Don Stone is confident that the progress made by Bell and the hockey teams current staff has gotten them off to a great start in the community. "The staff that we have is committed and works extremely well together. We believe in our team and I have no doubt that our upcoming season will be a great success", said Stone from his Atlanta office.

Stone will continue to be heavily involved with the daily operations of the team. "Brian Bell made significant contributions to the RoadRunners and we wish him the best."

The Topeka RoadRunners are currently in the process of signing contracts with local radio stations for game broadcasts and a weekly coaches show. The sales team is also working with numerous local businesses on future support for the team. "We're looking forward to the start of our season and the start of a successful year," he added.
