
Road Warriors Celebrate Greenville Habitat for Humanity's 300 Home

GREENVILLE, SC - Road Warriors' Head Coach Dean Stork and members of the Road Warriors' staff will be in attendance on Friday, June 22nd as Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County dedicates its 300th home built in its history. "Greenville's Habitat for Humanity has touched the lives of so many people," said Road Warriors' Community Relations Manager Katy Grindstaff. "This achievement is a testament to how hard they've worked over the last 27 years to provide a brighter future for families in Greenville County."
Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County will dedicate their 300th home on Friday morning at Abigail Springs in Taylors. The home will go to Tiffany Fowler, a mother of two, currently training to be a Surgical Tech at Piedmont Technical College. Chartered in 1985, Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County was formed with the goal of providing affordable housing for low income families. "Habitat for Humanity does tremendous work in the Greenville community and the Road Warriors organization is proud to be able to support and celebrate this achievement with them," said Road Warriors' Executive Vice President and General Manager Chris Lewis. "300 homes built is an incredible accomplishment, and we're honored that we could be on hand for this landmark achievement."
The Road Warriors' calendar continues to fill up this summer. The Road Warriors Hockey Camp takes place at the Pavilion on June 25th-29th. The camp, run by Road Warriors' coach Dean Stork, is open to youth hockey players of all skill levels. Youth players will have the opportunity to learn the same drills and exercises used by professional hockey teams. Rowdy will help Greenville celebrate this Independence Day. On June 30th, Rowdy will be at Freedom Blast in Greer. On July 4th, Rowdy will be at the Wells Fargo Red, White and Blue Festival, and also at the Earle St. Baptist 4th of July Parade.
