Wisconsin Explosion News Release
The Wisconsin Riveters are please to announce an auto car show at every home game. It is going to be limited to only 45 cars. A 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophy will be awarded at all four home games. All entries are good for all four auto car shows and any car can win more than once. The fans chose who the winner is and will be announced at half time along with the trophy presentation.
Average attendance from the 2002 season was 700-1200 fans per game. The participants that enter the car show will receive two tickets per home game for the regular season. Ticket value is worth $80.00 dollars. Playoffs and championship games are an additional cost. The participants entry fee is either a half page photo of the vehicle or a full page photo in a special auto car show section in the program. The half page cost $100.00 dollars and the full page costs $200.00 dollars. Entries must be received by January 10th of 2004. Holly Barrett the owner states: "We are looking forward to bringing a new twist to the community. Football and sports cars together." The Riveters are a full contact women's football team and members of the National Women's Football Association (NWFA).
