CAMDEN, N.J. -To celebrate the last 100 days before Opening Day (May 2nd), tickets go on sale Wednesday, January 22nd. As a special promotion each of the first 100 people to buy tickets, and will receive two (2) free tickets to Opening Day.
This year, the Riversharks host firework shows after every Friday and Saturday game, as well as additional firework shows on Memorial Day; Sunday, July 20th; and Thursday, September 18th, their final regular-season home game.
Just some of the appearances the Riversharks have on tap for this year include Spiderman, Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, Donatello from the Ninja Turtles, and the X-Men. In addition, movie and television characters will be stopping by Campbell's Field for every Sunday home game.
During the 2014 season, the Riversharks have planned several fun, crazy theme nights, including George Costanza Night, where everything is backwards; Price is Right Night; Halfway to the Holidays; Night of Egg-Celence; and the second annual Baconfest.
The Riversharks are also launching a brand-new slate of weekly promotions this season:
Munchkin Monday- Kids' admission to the ballpark is $3. Younger fans can also take advantage of other special discounts for kids, like admission to Finley's Kid's Club and the United Way Fit and Fun Zone.
Dollar Tuesday- Fans can enjoy select items and merchandise for $1.
Winning Wednesday- The basis of this promotion is simple: when the Riversharks win, so do the fans. If Camden wins, fans earn a free ticket to come back to any Sunday through Thursday game. Visitors also have chances to win all game long with events like Baseball Bingo, the Lucky Row, and others.
Throwback Thursday- On Throwback Thursdays every game features a different decade, complete with music, videos, and in-game promotions to highlight the era. Fans can also share their memories using #TBT on social media to earn more prizes from the Riversharks.
Fireworks Friday- Every Friday fans can enjoy a fireworks spectacular after the game.
Saturday- In addition to the fireworks display, younger fans are invited to run the bases after the game. Sunday- On Family Fun Day, fans can get autographs from the team, as well as character appearances during each game. Also, after the game visitors can enjoy Sunday Sundaes presented by Turkey Hill and Outfield Catches presented by Cooper University Hospital.
