Riversharks Ink Three More Players for 2011 Season

CAMDEN, NJ--The Camden Riversharks continued to fill out there 2011 roster this week with the addition of three more players. The Riversharks are excited to announce the signing of infielder Andrew Jenkins, left-handed pitcher Robert Rohrbaugh, and right-handed pitcher Mumba Rivera.
Jenkins, who played his collegiate ball at Oregon State University, has spent his entire minor league career in affiliated ball after being selected by the Florida Marlins in the 11th round of the 2005 draft. Jenkins has a career batting average of .268 and has reached as high as AAA in the Florida Marlins and Texas Rangers organizations.
Rohrbaugh has been in the Seattle Mariners organization for the last six seasons compiling a record of 45-26 with a 3.53 ERA. Rohrbaugh reached as high as AAA in 2007 and 2008 and his best season came back in 2006 when he posted a 7-1 record and a 1.46 ERA with the Seattle Mariners high-A ball affiliate, the Inland Empire 66ers.
Mumba Rivera also comes to the Riversharks via the Seattle Mariners organization. He spent the last seven years in the Mariners system and accumulated a 36-39 record with a 4.79 ERA reaching as high as AAA.
The Riversharks will open their 2011 season Friday, April 29th, on the road against the York Revolution. The team will play their home opener at Campbell's Field against the Long Island Ducks on May 3, 2011, at 7:05 PM.
