Camden Riversharks News Release
CAMDEN, NJ- The Camden Riversharks, South Jersey's Home Team, are proud to announce its partnership with Mega 1310 AM. This is the second season that the two organizations will work together, but the scope of the partnership is much broader in 2008.
From the start of the season, Mega will host Mega Thursdays at Campbell's Field. The station will have tickets to give away, along with passes to special events at the park. On Fridays, the station will host a regular call-in slot with a Latino Rivershark player. Mega 1310's presence will also be felt on the Riversharks Web site. The site will feature a Spanish language tab sponsored by the station. This tab will convert all content from English to Spanish. The partnership culminates into Latino Family Night sponsored by Mega 1310 on Aug. 16. That night, the Riversharks take on the Bridgeport Bluefish at 5:05 p.m. Mega will give away 200 tickets for the game on-air and provide the house band for the evening.
"Mega 1310 is very excited about our marketing agreement with the Camden Riversharks," Marc Taub, Mega 1310 General Manager, said. "This is a fantastic way to bring baseball to our audience and work with the community and our city of license, Camden. I look forward to our second year together."
"We are excited to have Mega 1310 back with us this season," Riversharks General Manager, Adam Lorber, said. "This partnership brings us closer to our Latino fanbase, which has always been a passionate and energetic force at Campbell's Field."
