LOVES PARK, Ill. - The Rockford RiverHawks have signed another former New York Mets farmhand.
Rockford's only professional baseball team announced on Tuesday that it has signed pitcher Jimmy Johnson. Johnson was 4-3 with a 4.93 earned-run average in 28 appearances, one as a starter, with the high Class A St. Lucie Mets of the Florida State League.

The RiverHawks have two other former New York farmhands on the roster - infielder Jake Eigsti and reliever Emary Frederick.
