Riverdragons to Practice at North Side Recreation

COLUMBUS - The Columbus Riverdragons will continue two a day practices Tuesday, November 5 on Day 3 of the team's 2002 training camp. Please note, the Riverdragons will work out today at North Side Recreation Center in North Columbus due to Election Day. Media Availability will begin at 10:15 a.m. Media availability for the afternoon practice session is by request only. Riverdragons head coach Jeff Malone is expected to make his first cuts today. Rosters must be set to 15 by Wednesday. The Riverdragons will return to Psalmond Road on Wednesday as well. PLAYERS TO WATCH

Sean Daugherty: Returning Dragon participated in Sacramento Kings vet camp this October. Sharp-shooting forward/center often served as Riverdragons zone buster in 2001-02. Finished 2nd on team in 3-point shooting last season, hitting 41.4% (21-29 3FGA's). Lonnie Jones: 7-footer from Ball State was the Riverdragons second round pick in last Thursday's draft. Participated in training camp with the New Jersey Nets in October. Finished four-year career as the all-time leader in blocked shots in Ball State and Mid-American Conference history with 301. Willie Davis: Versatile 6-foot-6 guard/forward has displayed serious hops in training camp thus far. The Riverdragons third round pick finished collegiate career as SMU's 11th all-time leading scorer with 1350 points and sixth all-time leading rebounder with 790 boards. Also posted 25 career double-doubles.
