
RiverCity Rage name new Director of Media Relations

St. Charles, MO - The RiverCity Rage have announced their new Director of Media Relations today. Aaron McCreight, already on the Rage staff as Director of Corporate Sales, will assume all Media Relations duties effective immediately. McCreight, an eight-year veteran in minor league sports, has an extensive Media Relations background.
"I'm fired up about this change," said Matt Jones, Rage General Manager. "This will have a great impact on area awareness for the Rage. Aaron will be taking over media responsibilities while continuing to direct our corporate sales efforts."
McCreight, a native of St. Louis, comes to the Rage after spending the 2006 season as the Assistant General Manager for the River City Rascals. Prior to the '06 season, McCreight held that same position with the Casper Rockies (Single A affiliate - Colorado Rockies) in the Pioneer League. In 2004 he served as the Director of Broadcasting for the Billings Mustangs (Single A affiliate - Cincinnati Reds) also in the Pioneer League. Previous to his season in Billings he was in the Southern League as the Director of Media Relations with both the Mobile, AL BayBears (Double A affiliate - San Diego Padres) and the Greenville, SC Braves (Double A affiliate - Atlanta Braves). McCreight began his career in Springfield, MO as a broadcaster for the Ozark Mountain Ducks in the Texas/Louisiana League.
